Najiba Darwish is an Afghan women’s rights advocate and social leader dedicated to empowering women and supporting vulnerable communities. Before coming to Canada, she worked on initiatives that promoted education, leadership, and social participation for women in Afghanistan. Her story reflects resilience, displacement, and the challenge of rebuilding life in a new country.

Najiba’s journey began in Kabul and later continued through Peshawar before she eventually arrived in Toronto. Like many immigrants, she had to rebuild her life in a new environment while continuing her commitment to social impact and community work.
