The Storytellers

Meet Zaki: Capturing the Soul of the Great North

Emal Zaki is the creator and director of Canada Life With Zaki, an independent documentary project focused on recording real immigrant stories across Canada.

As an immigrant himself, Emal understands the uncertainty, the challenges, and the determination required to rebuild life in a new country.

Through cinematic interviews and observational storytelling, his work preserves authentic experiences, not narratives created for promotion, but real stories lived by real people.

Canada Life With Zaki exists to document truth, identity, and the human journey of starting over.

These stories matter because they are the pulse of our nation. We believe that by documenting the courage and success of newcomers, we bridge the gap between individual struggles and our collective identity. Join our community and follow along for new episodes every month.
