About Allah Mohammad Kakar

Allah Mohammad Kakar is an Afghan entrepreneur whose life has been shaped by hard work, perseverance, travel, and profound human experiences.

His interest in business began during his student years in India. While studying there, he launched his first small business by delivering bread to fellow students. Although modest in scale, this experience changed the way he viewed entrepreneurship. For the first time, he discovered how identifying a need and providing a solution could create opportunity. That simple venture laid the foundation for his future interest in business and investment.

After returning to Afghanistan, he spent many years building businesses and creating employment opportunities. Afghanistan was not only his home but also the center of his personal and professional life. He never imagined that one day he would be forced to leave it behind.

In August 2021, just one day before the collapse of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Allah Mohammad Kakar left the country with his family. At the time, he did not believe that events would unfold so rapidly. Upon arriving in Turkey, he learned that Kabul had fallen and that the Taliban had taken control of Afghanistan.

As he reflects in his story, he never expected such a dramatic change to happen. In the early days, he still hoped that he would soon be able to return home. Gradually, however, he came to realize that his life had entered a new chapter and that returning to Afghanistan would no longer be as simple as he once believed.

His journey continued from Afghanistan to Turkey, Germany, the United States, and eventually Canada. This path was more than a geographical relocation; it was a journey that transformed the way he viewed life, identity, and the world around him.

Allah Mohammad Kakar often says that migration changed not so much his life as it changed his perspective. For many years, his efforts and ambitions were focused on serving his people and his homeland. Yet living in different countries and experiencing diverse cultures expanded his understanding of humanity and gave him a broader view of the world.

Today, his story is more than the story of an entrepreneur or an immigrant. It is the story of a man who lived through a historic turning point, crossed continents in search of stability and opportunity, and continues to move forward with resilience, hope, and a belief in the future.
